“Love Is A Verb” is a movement of people who are attempting to LIVe out the love of God through
simple acts of service and kindness toward others with no strings attached.

It’s okay if you’re not “religious” – we aren’t either! It’s okay if you have questions about God – we do too! Rather than asking people to buy into a religious philosophy of rules and regulations, we simply want to reflect the loving nature of God in how we act toward others. We believe that this communicates more accurately and more effectively who God is and the kind of world he wants us to be creating.

“When you’re in over your head, I’ll be there with you.
When you’re in rough waters, you will not go down.
When you’re between a rock and a hard place,
it won’t be a dead end —
Because I am GOD.
So don’t be afraid: I’m with you.”
(the Bible)

The number and variety of things that people can do for others when they begin to creatively LIVe life in a new way is really endless. Whether it’s the gift of a cold bottle of water to a thirsty hiker, a thank-you card to a bus driver, or secretly paying for someone’s meal at a restaurant, there is no limit to how we can express a life of love through simple acts of service for others. And, who knows, maybe these small acts of love and kindness can actually begin to work together to make this life a little better for all of us!
